An evening with Declan Hughes

As part of 'Catch a Crimewriter', Belfast Central Library present an evening with renowned Irish Author Declan Hughes.
Declan Hughes took a BA in English and Philosophy at Trinity College, Dublin. His first novel, The Wrong Kind of Blood won the Private Eye Writers of America Shamus Award for Best First PI novel, and the Le Point Magazine prize for best European Crime Novel. His other novels include The Colour of Blood; The Dying Breed (US The Price of Blood); All The Dead Voices; and City of Lost Girls. His work has been nominated for the Edgar, CWA First Blood Dagger, Macavity and Theakston's awards.
Declan co-founded Rough Magic Theatre Company in 1984, and was Artistic Director until 1992. He directed sixteen of the company’s productions, including Talbot’s Box, The Caucasian Chalk Circle, The Woman in White (also adapted), Road, The Silver Tassie and Our Country’s Good.
