What Is Dementia?

The Dementia Information Programme is a series of free talks and information sessions for anyone who has been diagnosed with dementia, care's for someone with dementia or simply has questions about the condition.
What Is Dementia is delivered by Lynda Williams, Dementia Support Worker with the Alzheimer’s Society at the Donaghadee Community Centre and will cover:
- The different types of dementia
- The symptoms, progression and what medication is available
- Local services available to help support both the person with dementia and their carers/family members.
There is no prior registration required – just turn up on the day.
